After just 14 years in the backhoe loader business, Cat built the 100,000th Backhoe Loader in 1999. Since starting in this business, Cat have been committed to meeting - and anticipating - customer needs. The E-Series Backhoe Loaders, introduced in 2005 are build in sideshift-design. The 432E and 444E are machines with full pilot operated controls for max. operators comfort and efficiency.

E-Series machines have a unique excavator-style boom, and  "Parallel Linkage Loader "for greater versatility. A hydraulic quick coupler is available with this linkage, and a mechanical quick coupler is also available for the backhoe. With quick couplers on both front and rear, you can use a broad range of work tools.
