Ingersoll Rand is one of the fastest growing manufacturers of drilling consumables in the world. The ISO9001 certified manufacturing facility, located in the USA, produces a complete line of button bits, drill rods, and related products for the surface drilling industry. |

DRILL STEEL |

| Two distinct forms of heat treatment are offered for these steels, namely, carburization for all spiral and male / female drill rods & induction hardening for single and tandem end round drill rods. |
- Spi-ral@ Rods are threaded over their full length for maximum reconditionability.
- Single Thread Round Rods provide a high degree of rigidity.
- Tandem Thread Round Rods provide the advantages of the rigid single thread rod with the reconditionability feature of the spiral rod.
- Male-Female (M/F) Rods do not require separate couplings, and can improve energy transmission through the drill rod to the bit.
- Single Thread Hexagon (Hex) Rods combine the rigidity of round rods with the lighter weight of spiral rods.
- Flex Bands are machined on both single-end and tandem-end round rods to help reduce concentration of bending stress.

STRIKING BARS |

| Machined from specially developed alloys for optimum hardenability. |
COUPLINGS |

| Extremely hard thread and deep case, these couplings are semi-bridge, to allow optimum energy transfer. |

BUTTON BITS |
The following is a general guide of bit styles and their applications. |

| Flat Face, are general purpose bits that work extremely well in consistent, medium to hard rock formations. |

| Prime Line, are a flat face design created for more severe drilling conditions. |

| Hard Rock, are a flat face design created for use in extreme drilling conditions. |

| Ballistic, are true speed bits designed for use in limestone and other softer rock formations. |

| Drop Center, are used in broken rock formations to obtain a straighter hole. |

| Drop Center Ballistic, combines the straightening characteristics of the Drop Center Bit with the speed of ballistic buttons. |

| Guide / Retract, are designed for applications requiring very straight holes. |

| Back Drilling, are used on crawler drills utilizing a reverse percussion system. |
