In a historic achievement, Altaaqa has delivered over 200 MW of power to support the Saudi Electricity Company’s (SEC) summer operations. This marks the company’s largest unified fleet deployment to date, with full mobilization and installation completed in under 40 days—a first in Altaaqa’s history.
The monumental project required the deployment of 140 diesel generators, 55 transformers, and over 40 kilometers of cabling, all supported by a fuel tank capacity of 3.5 million liters. With over 450 truck trips and the dedication of more than 40 skilled team members, Altaaqa, working in close collaboration with SEC’s and Omas’s operations teams, successfully overcame significant logistical challenges to ensure uninterrupted power across the Kingdom.
“This project showed what Altaaqa is truly capable of. We didn’t just meet expectations, we set a new standard,” said Mohamed Ambriss, Power Projects Manager.
