Altaaqa Global CAT Rental Power, the global provider of temporary power solutions, attended the 17thAnnual African Energy Forum, held at the J.W Marriot Marquis in Dubai from 8-11 June 2015.
The event was expected to welcome over 1,200 industry stakeholders, among them many government representatives. On the exhibition floor, Altaaqa Global had the opportunity to meet with energy ministers and executives from utility providers of African countries.

During a special plenary session on the latest innovations available for power projects, Altaaqa Global CEO, Peter den Boogert, discussed the company’s 50 MW rental gas power plant in Cameroon, highlighting how the synergy among the client, the gas supplier and the equipment provider contributed to its successful completion.

On April 28, 2015, Altaaqa Global’s temporary natural gas power plants, with a joint capacity of 50 MW, were inaugurated at the Logbaba power plant site in Douala, Cameroon. The rental gas power plants were installed and commissioned within 21 days from the time the equipment arrived at the intended power plant sites.
