Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, 3 November, 2022: In line with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s growing demand for electric vehicles and for a kingdom wide electric vehicles infrastructure, Zahid Group participated in the EV Auto Show that was held in Riyadh from the 1st till the 3rd of November 2022. The aim of the exhibition was to promote electric mobility and to bring together the leading stakeholders and decision-makers in the EV sector. The event was a great opportunity for exhibitors to showcase electric vehicles, innovative EV equipment, technologies, and services to an audience of policymakers, business leaders, investors, thought leaders and end users. Zahid Group companies Altaaqa EV, OMAS, Zahid Tractor Commercial Vehicles Division (Volvo Trucks, Renault Trucks and Higer Bus) and the Machinery Rental Alternatives Co., EJAR all displayed their state-of-the-art EV offerings during the event.

Representing Zahid Group as speakers during the EV Auto Show Event Conference were Mr. Kivanc Karayol, Volvo Electromobility Champion & Market Director and Mr. Ahmed Motaleb, Product & Marketing Manager, Renault Trucks.During their keynote presentation, both speakers highlighted their respective brand’s truck offerings and how they are working with Zahid Tractor Commercial Vehicles Division to help the Kingdom in achieving its Zero – CO2 Emissions mission.
Zahid Group’s 150sqm exhibit during the EV Auto Show featured Altaaqa EV’s charging equipment range and EV infrastructure offering. Also on display was a range of electric warehousing and facilities management equipment supported by the Machinery Rental Alternatives Co., EJAR. Zahid Tractor Commercial Vehicles Division showcased both Volvo Trucks, Renault Trucks and Higer Bus EV technology and offering.
