On December 3rd, Zahid Group celebrated International Day of Persons with Disability, an annual observance sanctioned by the United Nations that aims to promote awareness and mobilize support for critical issues relating to the inclusion of persons with disabilities in society and development. This year’s theme was Inclusion Matters: Access and Empowerment for People of all Abilities.
In recognition of the day, Sign Language CDs were distributed to raise awareness on how to interact with individuals with hearing disabilities. The Human Resources department also distributed cupcakes and encouraged employees to celebrate in their own creative ways.
