Zahid Tractor, the authorized Cat dealer in Saudi Arabia, and Caterpillar Global Mining announced today that Zahid Tractor will be the authorized dealer for the Expanded Cat Mining (formerly Bucyrus) distribution business. Supporting the complete Caterpillar mining product line, Zahid Tractor will serve as the distribution source for equipment, parts and service to customers in the Kingdom.
Through this new venture, Zahid Tractor will represent the former Bucyrus surface and underground distribution and support business, including legacy equipment such as Hydraulic Shovels, Electric Shovels, Draglines and Rotary Drills.

The relationship between Zahid and Caterpillar dates back to 1950, which led to the formation of Zahid Tractor & Heavy Machinery Co. Ltd. in 1967.
