Zahid Tractor is pleased to announce that its Parts Shipments through the Caterpillar Middle East Distribution Center (MEDC) in Dubai have now been regularized.
With its close proximity to Saudi Arabia, MEDC fast tracks the provision of parts to dealerships within the Kingdom, resulting in considerably shorter lead time and better product availability for customers. Additionally, by partnering with DHL, Zahid Tractor’s land transit cycle time has been reduced from 22 days to less than 7, ensuring faster delivery of items from MEDC to its warehouses.
Through extensive efforts to improve its lead time, the company is now able to provide better ex stock availability, supply back orders in the shortest time possible, and increase line items in its inventories.
