In the Makat area of the Atyrau region in Kazakhstan, Altaaqa Global is installing an 80MW power plant for a 10-year project. The client, a leading global cryptocurrency mining company, is currently undergoing rapid expansion. The installation of the Makat power plant began on June 13 and was finished on June 28, with the first 40MW completed in just 15 days. Presently, Altaaqa Global has set up 26 XCG 1900 gas genset units and 10kV step transformers. Phase 1 (40MW) is all set for commissioning, pending gas supply from the customer. Phase 2 is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
