Altaaqa Alternative Solutions and its sister company, Altaaqa Global, have been shortlisted at the 2015 Middle East Electricity (MEE) Awards for “Power Project of the Year” and “HSE Project or Initiative of the Year”, respectively.
This is the third award nomination Altaaqa Alternative Solutions has received in recognition of their record-breaking 95 MW temporary power station in Al-Kharj, Saudi Arabia. Just last year, the same project won “Specialist Contractor of the Year” at the MEP Awards 2014.
Dubai-based Altaaqa Global, having previously taken home the MEE “Power Project of the Year” award in 2014, was nominated this year for its initiatives in providing adequate security in hostile environments.
The Middle East Electricity Awards recognizes, celebrates and rewards the outstanding achievements of individuals, departments, teams and organizations that contribute to the growth and development of the energy industry with a focus on the power, lighting, new & renewable energy, nuclear and water sectors.
